1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Jelena Korac, an individual based in Portugal ("Syncira", "we", "us"), governing your use of the Syncira mobile application and related services (the "App").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What Syncira is — important health notice

Syncira is a wellness and self-tracking app that helps you understand your menstrual cycle through its natural phases, viewed as inner seasons. It helps you track your cycle, reflect, and receive gentle daily guidance.

Syncira is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Its content, predictions, and guidance are for general wellness and informational purposes only and are not a reliable method of contraception or fertility planning. Cycle predictions are estimates based on the data you enter and may be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions or concerns.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Syncira. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your account

You sign in using your email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity under your account. Let us know promptly at hello@syncira.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Subscriptions, free trial, and payment

Syncira offers premium features through an auto-renewing subscription.

Plans and price: monthly (€7.99/month) and annual (€47.99/year). Prices shown in the App may vary by region and are confirmed at purchase.
Free trial: New subscribers may receive a 14-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and you will be charged the price shown for your chosen plan.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Billing and cancellation: Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account. You manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Subscriptions settings — not within Syncira. Deleting your Syncira account does not cancel a store subscription.
Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue store refunds.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Syncira only for your own personal, lawful use. You will not: misuse or attempt to disrupt the App or its security; access it through unauthorized means; reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law; or use it to violate anyone's rights.

7. Your content

The data and content you enter (your logs, journal, reflections, intentions) remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process this content to provide the App to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.

8. Our content and intellectual property

The App itself — including its design, original text, and features — belongs to Syncira and is protected by intellectual property laws. (This does not include general wellness concepts, such as viewing the menstrual cycle as seasons, which are not owned by Syncira.) You may not copy, resell, or redistribute it without our permission.

9. AI-generated guidance

Some of the App's daily guidance is generated with the help of an automated (AI) system. This guidance is offered for gentle, general wellness support only. It may not always be accurate or suitable for your situation, and it is not professional advice. Use your own judgment and consult a professional where appropriate.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App. We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the App's wellness information or cycle estimates.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your mandatory rights as a consumer under EU/Portuguese law).

12. Termination

You may stop using Syncira and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the App.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence are unaffected.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you in the App or by email. Continuing to use Syncira after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
